As most of you know I decided a bit over a year ago to go to Europe for my 30th birthday, or at least in the year that I turn 30. There are many places in the world that I still need to check off. I asked a few friends, and several family members if they wanted to meet for bits and pieces of it. No one could afford to go, or get the time off work. So I started planning a solo trip. Last year I limited my holidays so that I could roll over annual leave. So when I started planning the trip I knew I was looking to take about 4 weeks off (gotta love the Australian leave system). I have wanted to go to Croatia for over 7 years and have been so excited about finally getting there, so I knew that was on the list. From there I decided I wanted to check out Eastern Europe. After many hours of research and several changes I ended up with the following itinerary.
Croatia (Dubrovnik to Split-sailing tour)
Motor Bay, Montenegro
Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Krakow, Poland
Budapest, Hungary
Vienna, Austria
Prague, Czech Republic
Berlin, Germany
Amsterdam, Netherlands
London, England
Wales
I will be away for 5 weeks, including the wonderfully long travel time from Australia to Europe.
The goal is to update this regulary-ish, so that family can read what I'm getting up to in Europe, and I have something I can look back on years from now.
