Because just because we speak the same language, doesn’t mean we know what the other one is saying! (It’s not wrong, it’s just different! ;) )

Antsy – Horny (I will never be able to use this word the same way again, lol) **I used this on the bus one day and was informed at the alternative meaning...lol
Bathers/Swimmers – Bathing Suit
Bogan – Unkept (apparently with a mullet and flannel shirt)
Bloke – Guy
Budgie Smugglers – Swim Trunks
Cadbury – Lightweight
Capsicum – Peppers
Chav – Ganster Wannabe
Cheeky – Smartass/Sarcastic
Chips – Fries
Confuzzed – Confused and Puzzled
Crisps – Potato Chips
Crook – Unwell/Sick
Dinger – Condom
Deero - Bum (similar to bogan)
DTs – Swim Trunks (male)
Feral – Disgusting
Fit – Hot/Attractive
Hole in the Wall – ATM
Holiday – Vacation
Jocks – Boxers
Jumper – Sweatshirt Jacket (probably most overused word by Lauren and myself….errr sorry guys!!!)**I used this word all the time and would do it with a funny English accent :)
Lollies – Candy (like gummybears)
Loo/Dunny/Toilets/Bog – Bathroom (wow we certainly have enough words for bathroom!!)
Maccas – McDonalds
Magoted – Drunk
Mate – Friend
Minger – Unattractive
Pavement – Sidewalk (A sidewalk makes perfect sense ‘cause it is on the side…and you walk on it! duh..its just made out of pavement! haha)
Pay Out – Insult
Pissing – Raining
Plaits – Braids
Pluggers/Thongs – Flip Flops
Pop off – Fart
Pulling/Snogging – Kissing
Rooting – Screwing (Its going to be weird now when we talk about rooting for a team, haha)
Rubber – Eraser (if someone asked me to borrow a rubber i would definitely think they were strange! lol)
Rubbish – Trash/Garbage
Rucksack – backpack
Runners/Sandshoes – Sneakers
Seedy – Looks bad, Hungover
Servo – Gas Station (short for service station)
Shag – Close Friend (or to bang)
Sheila – Woman
Skoff – Scarf (as in food)
Scull!!!! – Chug! (I’m so bringing it to the states....probably the most used word by everyone on coniki hahaha!)
Snapped – Got Hurt
Sunnies – Sunglasses (Their words are so much more fun than ours!!! Sunnies…how cute?!)
Surname – Lastname
T – Dinner
Take the Mickey Out of You – To Insult
Take the Piss Out – To Insult
Taxi – Falls When Drunk
Texta – Marker
Togs – Bathing Suits
Tucker – Food
Tuckshop – Cafeteria
Undies – Panties
Uni – University, College
Zeabra – Zebra (It sounds really different…I find it hilarious that we had no idea what Kelly was talking about for like 5 minutes when she first said zebra hahaha!)
Zed – Z (as in the letter)
