Back in the states
I am so exhausted. We got back last night around 10pm, which to us would be 6 or 7 in the morning. I went to bed around 10-10:30 and at 3:30am my body was like ok it's mid afternoon in Europe. So....I slept on and off until 6ish when I gave up and just got up. I am trying to unpack and do all my laundry now and get back into the swing of things. I'm so sad that the vacation is over already :( I am not ready to go back to reality. Oh well, I looked over my blog and can't think of anything that I really forgot, except the little boring details that don't really matter. The last couple days in London, we saw the changing of the gaurd, I took pics of the guys in the red outfits w/ the tall bear hats. We then jumped on the double decker, on/off bus and went all over London. I got really sunburnt. We went to a pub for dinner, and then we were off to the theatre; except dinner took longer than expected and we missed the show. We wandered around London a bit and went to bed early. We left the next day to come home, it was a long plane ride. The 11hrs hoem seemed more like 20, I couldn't sleep and none of the movies were keeping me entertained. I am uploading photos to Picasa right now, so you can go to:
http://picasaweb.google.com/cmwright121
to see pics from my trip. Thses are only the pics I had on my camera, Steph, Tris, Max, Mel, and Jason have tons more that I will be getting from them hopefully soon. Will update when I get more!

Day 9-12?
Well I think the last time I wrote was when I was in Rome? The internet was too much in Florence. We made our way to Florence and had a walking tour of the city, where it started to rain on us. We went to see the statue of David and then it was time to leave. We went to a Florence dinner where monks fed us our dinner. It was a 4 course meal and just like in Venice they brought me a diffrent kind of plain pasta wfor each round. Kelly was freakin amazing at making sure that they would feed me food that I would eat. This dinner had an opera singer and music and dancing. At the end of the meal they gave us a few drops of some alcohol the monks make themselves. It was 90 proof and disgusting, tasted like licorice. ewww. After the dinner we went to the Space Disco Electronica and danced the night away. It was so much fun and we were all out dancing together early into the morning (even Kelly was there). We then went to Switzerland the next day, where we stayed in a jail that had been converted into a hotel. You felt like you were being locked up when you closed your door to your room....creepy. The dinner that night was gross, so we heading into the city to eat some Burger King. It tasted AMAZING. Before the hotel and dinner we went to the top of a mountain to see the view of the city below, with my fear of heights I actually cried at the top. lol. We then went to PARIS!!!!! OMG! I def want to go back there. We went to the Louve on the first day when we got there. Saw the Mona Lisa, Eqyptian statues, and many other famous things that I have no idea what they are just that I have seen them in books before. (haha.....as you can tell, not much of an art person) That night we had a free night and went into the town and went up the Eiffel Tower. Luckly for me the top level was closed, so we went to the second one. It was still high enough for me. We saw the light show that happens on the hour and it was beautiful. The next day we went shopping on Champs de Elysse (spellcheck?) famous street with all the name brands, then saw the Arc de Trom ? We then went to the Catacomes that are underground, and saw all the bones from the Black Plague. Then Notre Dame, and back to the hotel to get ready for the Cabaret show and off we went. I was able to eat freakin steak for dinner, and saw the show. Then we went out one last time as a group to say goodbye. Now I'm back in London and I have 2 days here now. I need to sign off now, so I will updated it more later.

Day 6-8
Venice was great....we did some shopping. Saw St. Mark Square, rode in a gondola, and had a Venetian dinner. We had to take a water taxi to and from the city. We had a great time then went back to the hotel and hung out there. We left for Rome the next morning and it took all day long to get there. Once there we wandered around and saw the Pantheon, a few other cathedrals. The Trevi Fountain, and then walked around past all the Roman Forums and the Colosseum. Today we had a free day, we went to the Spanish steps, then took a tour of the Roman Forums and the Colosseum. We went into the Vatican City and I saw the Sistine Chapel. We wandered around, got lost and saw the beautiful cities. I cant remember all the other stuff I did and people are waiting to use the comp. Tomorrow, Florence, then Switzerland. :)

8 mins left on my time.....so quick rap up. St. Goar, went to a bearstien making places... then bus ride to Munich yesterday was fun with a 3 hour bike ride around Munich learning the history of the town IN THE RAIN!!!! Literally looked like we all just took showers, even though we had panchos on. Then off to the Houfbrahuse...The famous beerhole where they have the Octoberfest every year...I guess over 6 million come to Octoberfest a year! They ONLY sell liters of beer, so I bought a Liter, since I promised a few people I would try beer in Germany....and ended up giving it to Steph after 1-4 of it. Then left this morning to come here to Austria. Started the morning white water rafting on class 3....so much fun!! It was freezing but fun....the water comes from the run off of the Swiss alps, and it rained again today. Then off to the Swaroftki? cyrstal place and then on to our hotel... it is 8 45pm...we have dinner and a free night tonight. I guess there are 4 Contiki tours here tonight in this small little village, so we are ALL going to the silver bullet to have some schapes, which origniated here. Day 3
Gutentag?!? Hello from Germany. So....last night we did the canal cruise and we played a little drinking game on board. I was selected to play for the USA and females. I ended up winning the female round and made it on to compete against a guy. This guy, Jason, is a big military man from Australia and somehow I bet him and won for the females and USA!!! woot woot! It was really cool to see how alot of them travel in the canals. Then we went thru the red light district and saw all the prostitutes in the windows....so strange. It was packed with narrow walkways and girls in every window in swimsuits or bras and underwear. It was different. We then went to the "ballet" and umm....yea it was a sex show and very strange. Today we got up and had breakfast in the hotel. (btw, dinner last night I was also able to eat, it was buffet w/ chicken and fries for me!) Breakfast was toast and bacon for me. We wandered Amsterdam this morning, and saw Anne Frank house and Van Gough Musuem. Another 6 hour bus ride (most days have a 6-8 hour bus ride) and then we got to St. Goar, it is a small town in the Rhine Valley of Germany where they make wine. It is currently 10pm and is still light out, there daylight is WAY longer. I did not eat anything they fed us for dinner, I had a few bites of the pork they gave us but it was covered in a sause and I cuoldn't do it. We then went wine tasting in a cellar! Now It's off to bed. This town in a very quite small town, and in the morning we will be going to a beerstine place and look at some cukco? clocks and berkenstocks....then off to Munich. We are taking a 3 hour bike tour of Munic tomorrow and ending at the famous brewery, I don't remember the name. I may not be able to update this tomorrow, but I will in the next few days.

Day 1-2
Hallo from Amsterdam. I just arrived at the hotel here. It is 6pm, and we have been on the road since 7 this morning. The flight over was uneventful, my "kids meal"was food I would not eat. Pasta with sauce and meatballs :( so I had chips for dinner on the plane, I slept about an hour maybe, I was just not tried at all, even though I purposely didn't sleep much the night before. When we got to London we meet another Contiki person, who was on a different tour and hung out with him a bit. We went and checked into the hotel in London, tiny room with two twin beds, but it had a nice view. We then went to a pub for lunch, Steph and Tris got fish and chips, I was too hungry to try soemthing new that I got a burger with cheddar cheese. And yes the cheese is different, but I liked it ok. We wandered around and saw Buckingham Palace then went down to Big Ben and Westminster Abby. I loved listening to all the British talk :D That was all we had time for before a mandatory meeting with Contiki. We went to a cute little place for dinner, I got a ham a chesse sandwich which was on amazing bread. Then at 8pm we went to bed and got up this morning at 6am.
our tour manager is hilarious and amazing, and Australian LOVE HER ACCENT!!
We were on the bus all day, saw the white cliffs of Dover and took the ferry over to France. Drove thru France and Belgium to get to the Neatherlands. Tonight we have dinner at 6:30 and then we are off to do a canal cruise a tour of the red light district, and go to a "ballet", which I guess according to our tour manager, Kelly, in Amsterdam a ballet is a sex show that you watch. To be continued tomorrow about what exactly this "ballet"is....Need to go take my luggage up to my room before dinner, just wanted to write real quick to let everyone know I am here safe and sounds and what we have done so far.
Tomorrow-Anne Frank house, Van Gough museum and Sex museum.....
